Bay Area parents seeking the best information about preschools for their children are invited to attend San Francisco’s largest annual exhibition of preschools—Preschool Preview Night—which will take place this year on Wed., Oct. 22, 5:30 – 7:30 pm, at the San Francisco County Fair Building (Hall of Flowers) in Golden Gate Park. The yearly preschool extravaganza, featuring scores of representatives from San Francisco preschools, along with other young child-centered exhibitors, is hosted and organized by Parents Place, the family resource center division of Jewish Family and Children’s Services. Tickets, $18 if purchased in advance, can be obtained at the Parents Place’s website:www.parentsplaceonline.org.
Preschool Preview Night gives parents an opportunity to speak one-on-one with San Francisco’s most knowledgeable authorities about the rich array of preschool options available to families in every part of the city. “Preschool Preview Night is a friendly, convenient ‘one-stop-shop’ that provides moms, dads, grandparents, and other caregivers with a very real sense of what each preschool has to offer and what would be the ‘best fit’ for their children,” says Mechele, Pruitt, Director of Parents Place in San Francisco.
This year, Preschool Preview Night is a special evening for parents and caregivers to connect with preschools without having children present. Thanks to the generosity of local eateries, attendees will enjoy complimentary appetizers. While preregistration is advised, adults can also purchase tickets at the door for $20 apiece.
