SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Sept. 9, 2016 – Overwhelmed with how to figure out the preschool and kindergarten admissions process in San Francisco? You’re in luck: JFCS’ Parents Place has an upcoming event just for you! The 24th annual Preschool Preview Night is on Wed. is on Sept. 28, 2016, 5:30 – 7:30 pm, at the San Francisco County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park.
San Francisco parents will be able to meet and speak with representatives from over 100 local schools and children’s services providers. Parents can get answers about school philosophies, costs, pre-admission visits, hours, and more.
This year’s event has expanded to include private kindergartens for the first time. Parents who are actively looking for the best elementary school for their child as well as parents of toddlers are excited about having the kindergartens at the fair.
Hosted and organized by Parents Place, the family resource division of Jewish Family and Children’s Services, Preschool Preview Night is a “one-stop shop” to meet with the city’s best preschools, private kindergartens, and other children’s services.
“Choosing a preschool or elementary school is a big decision for parents and the search can be time consuming and labor intensive—especially in San Francisco,” says Mechele Pruitt, Director of Parents Place in San Francisco. “Preschool Preview Night makes the process a lot easier with dozens of providers all in one place at one time.”
Parents Place gratefully acknowledges the support of this year’s sponsors: Parents’ Press, the J Weekly, and Golden Gate Mothers Group.
