Help Emigres Gain Citizenship
  • Volunteers

JFCS has been invited to participate in the San Francisco Pathways to Citizenship Initiative, a joint project of seven agencies that have come together to help city residents who are citizenship-eligible become naturalized citizens.

JFCS invites you to help members of our community who are interested in becoming citizens to take the next steps. We are seeking volunteers, in the morning and the afternoon, to assist in a variety of capacities. Volunteers will:

  • Help register applicants at the next free naturalization clinic (see details below).
  • Help manage traffic flow.
  • Fill out necessary paperwork, and more.

The next naturalization clinic will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, at:

San Francisco City College
Chinatown/North Beach Campus
808 Kearny Street
San Francisco 94108

Morning and afternoon volunteer shifts are available.
Lunch and snacks provided.

You will have the training you need to succeed, and your time will make a lasting contribution.

Join us! Volunteer, click here>  (under the “affiliation” field, please type “JFCS Volunteer.”) AND contact Masha Gutkin at 415-449-1240 to RSVP.

Please note that if you are a JFCS volunteer from the Peninsula or Marin County, JFCS can reimburse you for your travel expenses.
