Learn How Your Interests and Passions Can Lead to a Job

“What do you want to be when you grow up?”—what a hard question to answer! For many adults, it is a question that they continue to ask themselves throughout their lives. For most people, there is no single career trajectory, no one correct path to take. Careers don’t necessarily follow in a straight line. Sometimes it can be the most unexpected, indirect path that brings a person to their dream job.

At YouthFirst, we are here to help you along your path:

  • Apply to be a Shmunis Intern for our summer internship program. Applications open in December; find more information here.
  • Join us for our Career Exploration Night, where we invite leaders in various fields to share about their career and their unique path to get where they are today.
  • If you are in college, apply to be a Summer College Intern or a College Program Assistant. These paid positions are great opportunities for college students who are looking to work with teens and strengthen their administrative skills. College Program Assistants work 10 hours per week during the school year. Summer College Interns work 20 hours per week for 8 weeks during the SIP program.

For more information about any of our programs, please email Debra Massey at [email protected].
