Home Care

Whether you’re planning for the future, dealing with a significant life transition, or need some personal support at home, our caregivers are here for you.

JFCS’ Seniors At Home compassionate caregivers are available 6 – 24 hours per day and can help with:

  • Personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
  • Safety assistance with walking, stairs, transfers, and more
  • Medication reminders
  • Assistance after an illness or hospitalization
  • Meal planning, shopping, and preparation
  • Transportation to errands and appointments
  • Companionship
  • Light housekeeping

Highly Trained Caregivers

All caregivers have access to ongoing education in elder care including Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care, caregiving at the end of life, addressing the needs of bedbound clients, and more.

Unique sensitivity trainings give caregivers education about working with Holocaust Survivors as well as with clients of all faiths, backgrounds, gender identities and sexual orientations.

A Team Approach

Behind your caregiver is an award-winning team of registered nurses, social workers, gerontologists, dementia care advisers and other senior care experts who are on call to offer extra support when it’s needed.

Our caregivers are our employees; we handle all responsibilities including taxes, insurance, training, and scheduling. Unlike caregivers who are privately hired, our caregivers are supervised, have undergone extensive background and health screenings, and are bonded and insured.
