Human rights activist Natan Sharansky, internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter Regina Spektor, KGO radio talk show host John Rothmann, and America’s Got Talent finalist George Komsky headline the 10th Annual Émigré Community Gala, to be held Saturday evening, January 29, at San Francisco’s Westin St. Francis Hotel. The Gala, the premier Northern California event for Russian-speaking Jews and one of the largest annual events for the entire Jewish community of the San Francisco Bay Area, raises funds for life-saving social services for those in need served by Jewish Family and Children’s Services (JFCS) of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties.

In addition to world-class entertainment, exceptional European-style food and beverages, a stirring presentation by Mr. Sharansky, and a moving video that profiles individuals whose lives have been enhanced thanks to JFCS’ services, the Gala will include a silent auction featuring exciting travel packages, dining experiences, fine wines, and other luxury goods.

Proceeds from the Gala go directly toward emergency financial assistance, services for children with special needs, support for frail elderly to live safely at home, and scholarships for youth. A portion of the funds raised also helps provide services to children and families who have been victims of trauma in Israel.

Individual tickets are $295. Tickets for guests 35 years old and younger are $180. The price, less $160, is tax-deductible. To receive more information or to reserve a ticket, call 415-449-1256 or email [email protected].
