Learn the fundamentals of how to start and run a small business at our second annual BIZCamp, a two-week introduction to entrepreneurship for teens ages 14 - 18.
YouthFirst's 2008 BIZCamp is a collaboration of the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (www.nfte.com) and Jewish Family and Chldren's Services of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties (www.jfcs.org).
BIZCamp offers interested youth a chance to explore business opportunities, develop leadership skills, cultivate talents, enhance confidence and self-esteem and take one step closer to realizing the dreams of a lifetime--all while meeting new people and having fun.
During this two-week training program, participants will:
Last year's prizes went to BIZCamp entrepreneurs who created a salad business at their high school, a video-game resale business and a portable food cart. BIZCamp graduates from other programs across the country have launched small businesses in technology, social services, marketing and many other sectors.

The fee for the entire program is $350. It will be applied on a sliding scale. For families with greater need, full scholarships are available. Any student interested in exploring his or her ideas and potential for entrepreneurship is encouraged to apply. Let your dreams be your guide.
