Helping Bay Area Residents Cope With the High Cost of Living

According to a recent SF Chronicle article, "A family of four in the Bay Area with two working adults must earn $77,069 just to pay for basic necessities" So it should come as no surprise that over 70% of the people who turn to Jewish Family and Children's Services for help require fully or partially subsidized services.

Providing people with the help they need to get back on their feet when faced with a crisis has been our work for over 157 years. But, equally important, are the many services JFCS offers to help them gain skills and move ahead in their lives, including:
