Too often, seniors find themselves isolated and alone because of health problems, lack of transportation and few opportunities to gather with a group of people with similar histories and interests. This is particularly difficult for the large number of elderly Holocaust Survivors living in the San Francisco Bay Area. So Jewish Family and Children's Services created Café by the Bay as part of its SeniorsˇAtˇHome programming.

Café by the Bay is a place where survivors gather at weekly social events not only to discuss Holocaust issues, but also to enjoy each other's company, live music, and educational programs.

Cafe by the Bay takes place weekly on Thursdays from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at JFCS' Miriam Schultz Grunfeld Professional Building located at 2150 Post Street in San Francisco.

To learn what's coming up this month at Café by the Bay, click here or contact Cherie Golant, LCSW at
(415) 449-3851 or by email at CherieG@jfcs.org.

New! Cafe by the Bay is now offered once a month in Marin! For more information, please contact Lorraine Harris at (415) 419-3635 or LorraineH@jfcs.org.
