N-400
Assistance filling out your N-400 Application for Naturalization in monthly group processings. Call the Hotline, (415) 449-2900, to receive a registration form and current schedule.
Photos
Professional Immigration photos are available at our office at 2534 Judah Street, every Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We can also arrange for off-site photos for clients with disabilities which make it difficult to come to our office. For information, call (415) 449-2900.
ETS written citizenship exam
The general ETS written citizenship exam is no longer being offered. Updated information about new testing options will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
Legal Counseling
JFCS provides individualized legal counseling for clients applying for Exceptions to English/Civics Requirements as well as for other clients who have particular legal concerns regarding the citizenship application process. The JFCS attorney will appear at most INS interviews in which a disability waiver (or other eligibility-based exclusion) has been requested. Citizenship Classes
- Ongoing citizenship classes focusing on oral interview preparation and including written English dictation drills. Classes are held every Tuesday, from 10 am-12 pm and at the JFCS Emigre Department, 2534 Judah Street, San Francisco. Pre-registration is not required.
- INS interview preparation workshop are available to applicants filing their N-400 through JFCS -- see point B, above.
- Individual tutoring for INS interview. Registration forms are available at the JFCS Emigre Dept.
