JFCS' nationally-recognized Parents Place Family Resource Center helps families each step of the way from infancy to adulthood with classes, workshops, support groups, counseling, play therapy, online childcare bulletin board, and much, much more! Adoption Connection
A full-service licensed adoption agency, Adoption Connection offers domestic and international adoption services, homestudies, post-placement services, educational workshops, information and referral, and counseling for both birth and adoptive parents.

Begin From Within
Provides adults and teens struggling with food, weight and body image issues with counseling, education, and peer and professional support.

Disabilities Program
Reaches out with counseling, financial aid, volunteer support, advocacy and nutritious meals to people with HIV, chronic illnesses, or disabilities and their families. The Disabilities Program also provides community-wide education through its speakers bureau and curriculum projects.

Dream House
Provides safe, private transitional housing and support for women and children who have experienced domestic violence and/or homelessness.

Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation
Sponsored by Parents Place, Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation provides training, consultation, and evaluation to childcare centers throughout the Bay Area.

YouthFirst Program
JFCS' youth development program to help teens develop the necessary life skills to move into young adulthood smoothly, successfully and responsibly.

Family Mediation Center
Emphasizes informed decision making in resolving family and marital disputes. Mediation services are available for a wide variety of issues including separation, divorce, custody, property, inheritance disputes, stepfamily adjustments, and grandparent visitation.

Interfaith Programs
Provides support for interfaith families through counseling, support groups, and our very popular Making Relationships Work seminars.

Israeli Support Services
JFCS' Hebrew-speaking professionals offer a full range of individual, couples and family support services designed especially for Israelis living in the Bay Area.

LGBT Family Services
Offers a wide range of services including counseling, adoptions, support and parenting groups, to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals and their families. Also provides community training and education through its Speakers Bureau and other organizational outreach activities.

Team Tzadek
JFCS’ Team Tzadek is a community service volunteer program for b’nai mitzvah pre-teens and teens (6th, 7th and 8th graders) and their families. This popular program complements religious and day school curricula, and educates youth about community needs. Working as a team, students participate in hands-on mitzvah projects while learning about the meaning and role of tzedakah.
